At the end of each semester, I ask the students what they would tell next semester’s students on the first day of class. Here are their responses.

Some advice would be to make sure you study for your weekly quizzes and lab quizzes. Expect lots of studying and reviewing/learning new info. Overall, fun class!

Come on time to the weekly tests and take advantage on the recorded lectures when studying for tests

Make flashcards/quizlets from the lecture notes, weekly quizzes, and exit quizzes. Do not cram. Pay attention when Dr. Edens mentions that a concept will show up on the exam!

Using the material provided by the professor like the review questions and lecture handouts helps reviewing for the class and keeping track of the information you learn. Expect a lot of small quizzes and short midterms to study for but it is more than doable since there is no homework. Enjoy the labs!! It is a really fun class.

If you want to ace the midterms, study the review questions and I recommend to re-watch again the lecture videos accompanied with the lecture notes.

Do not try to learn all the material the night before the exam, instead, throughout the semester, properly learn the material little by little. It will benefit you in the long run! Good Luck!

Study the review questions posted on the website for the class, they help a lot.

Come to class! Being present in lecture and labs rather than depending on lectures online. Also ask questions and communicate with Mr. Edens. Review questions and study! Good luck !

Watch the lecture videos with the lecture outlines and take extra notes on the outlines while watching the videos! It also helps out to quiz and study with other peple don’t be a loner! Talk to Edens if you have questions he helps out a lot!! also study the review questions posted online as early as possible don't wait last minute.

Don’t be lazy. Don’t procrastinate. Be on top of everything.

Study Your notes after class while its fresh, it is much easier than cramming last minute.

Watch the lecture videos and do the review questions.

Do the review questions before the end of the class or near the final!! There are a lot of things, so make sure you keep up as the semester progresses.

Review the material learned in lab and in lecture the of. Don't wait to review it another day because it will automatically come up in weekly quizzes and midterms.

Review old material consistently, it will help to not get stress when midterms and final come around.

100% do not procrastinate. Even though there are no assignments, material will pile up.

Show up to class if possible and if unable just make sure towatch the lecture videos and he is a good professor and is always happy to help and answer question, just make sure that if you do not understand something to ask. Eden's will not bite and he is here for our success and good luck! ;)

Print out the lectures before the class and read them and then ask questions on anything you don't understand or find confusing.

Review the lecture and lab when preparing for the midterm, almost all the material in the midterm comes from those two

I would recommend to go over the review questions!

Definitely study the lecture notes. They helped with the first several exams!

Go over the lecture notes for the midterms instead of the review questions. The review questions are more pertinent to the final.

Go over the lecture class it really helps to understand it

Reviewing your lecture notes is the best way to study for exams. The review questions can help, but its more relevant to the final. For lab quizzes, just review the lab process and questions & you should do great

Engage in the labs and ask as many questions as you need. Answer the review questions and go over them before every exam and after lab to gain a better understanding.
