At the end of each semester, I ask the students what they would tell next semester’s students on the first day of class. Here are their responses.

Mr.Edens makes this course fairly easy by providing multiple resources in his website, you will find this class less challenging if you take advantage of the review questions! ☺

Make sure to do the review questions the week of that chapter. This isn’t the hardest class but you definitely need to study for that A. Overall, a great class and teacher.

This course is challenging but Mr. Edens gives you the tools to succeed. Come to lectures or watch at home but always have the printed lectures to take notes. Don't miss any lab days and always review the previous lab and if you can also the upcoming lab. I'm a visual learner and Mr. Edens made the recorded lectures fun and animated and that really helped me. Also, print and study the review questions, they help a lot for the final. Overall I really enjoyed this course. Thank you Mr. Edens!

The way to succeed in this course is paying attention to lectures, taking note of what the professor says to remember, reviewing, and studying until the subjects are comprehended. The course is hard but there are plenty of resources and as long as those are completed then everything should be fine since the labs are fun and the teacher is also humorous, and friendly so any additional advice or questions could also be answered to by him.

The class is very challenging, Mr Edens did a great job with the lecture handouts they were very helpful when taking notes. I recommend using the review questions I wish I had earlier on in the course, they were so helpful to follow the lectures. Also ask questions, Mr Edens is great at helping explain things.

I think for students to succeed or get the grade they want ,they should go through the book or watch youtube videos .

Study on your freetime, flash cards help a lot!! Watching youtube videos and making silly names to remember things! Great teacher overall, very nice!

Study. It is a lot to memorize, so try Knowt for FREE digital flashcards, the whiteboards in the S/N-building, or just paper to draw/practice vocabulary. Watch the lecture and pre-lab videos to catch the quick side notes that are not on the lecture outline. The midterm dates seem far away, but they are not – time goes by really fast in this class. VERY UNDERSTANDABLE if you can’t study for this class every night, but try to schedule some time before, between, or after your classes – you’ll find it very worth it in the midterms. Test yourself with the review questions (to prepare for the final) and don’t feel embarrassed to reach out for help! Professor Edens welcomes questions and is always there during office hours or through email! Lastly, look forward to the muscular system chapter because it’s a very entertaining and funny lecture:)
